Savage — Pet the Pestilence
Savage by Pet the Pestilence, from the album Letting On (2026). Track 13 · 2:54. Written by David W. Johansson.
The story
Savage is about desire locked outside the gate. Something hungry paces the fence of what it cannot have, close enough to smell it, never let in — and it keeps circling anyway. It is the darker side of wanting, sung quietly rather than shouted.
